Two key ingredients that will help you grow and evolve

New year, new me is being spoken so bravely at the beginning of every year.

Let's brake this down for a little bit.

New year means:

  • the predictable contexts that are most likely you will be in.

  • the possible contexts you could say yes to.

  • the potential contexts you cannot even begin to comprehend or imagine now as being part of your reality.

New me means:

  • the predictable mindset I am most likely to have based on my past experiences.

  • the possible mindset I could choose as a different option, a new option, a new perspective based on my imagination and self leadership or examples I see in others

  • the potential mindset I might develop/download in an instant or during a process

So, new year, new me could mean:

😳 a very similar outcome to the past (or your family/friends) if you play in the predictable field, hence, you haven't done anything in 2022 and are (still) not doing anything to change your mindset. Translates to: new year, same me

😊🙃 a possible change in your life trajectory as you constantly choose new ways of thinking, behaving and leading yourself.

Translates to: I am leading myself knowing what I am doing. I trust without evidence.

🤩exciting or horrible experiences life offers you depending on how you manage the first two fields.

Translates to: "Omg, an amazing year!" Or "I hate life, why does this always happen to me?"

You WILL NOT generate a new you until you change your mindset. Otherwise, you will keep looking at things in the SAME WAY hoping for a different outcome.

That is an immature way of dealing with life.

The key?

Self leadership and self control.
